PSYCHO GOREMAN, if you don’t know (I didn’t) is an indie horror movie made here in Canada. I’m generally not a big fan of gore movies, but this one is really silly and fun. The guys who made it are professional special effects/costume artists who work on big budget films, and this one they made for themselves on a small budget. You can watch it streaming on Shudder.com

Anyway, my studiomate Andy Belanger befriended the filmmakers somewhere (Andy befriends people everywhere) and agreed to help them run a Kickstarter to make a Psych0 Goreman anthology comic – a Heavy Metal-style magazine full of different stories by different writers and artists – so naturally I pitched in to do one.

It’s a short 4-pager featuring PG, the kids from the film, and an unfortunate cat. BUT… it also features a couple of the backers of the Kickstarter who pledged at a higher tier to be in the comic, so the neighbour and his daughter are based on real people (not the cat, to my knowledge).

I wrote this thing but it hasn’t been lettered yet (or coloured), so I’ll update the pages here once I get the final files. You guys are the first people to see this incredible work of fiction. Prepare to be moved and emotionally changed forever.
