Wednesday Flash!
Here’s a sneak peek at the first page of my Flash story for Wednesday Comics! Co-written with Brenden Fletcher and coloured by Dave McCaig, it’s a 100% Canadian effort. :)
Keep in mind, this is only the top half of the page…

Love the vintagey feel of this. Totally dig how you draw Flash.
Wednesday Comics can’t come soon enough. I can’t begin to describe how excited I am for this.

I like the silver-age feel – but then I notice all sorts of background detail – Grodd’s detail. It’s just very clean and well-told storytelling. & I love the panel structure. If all books were this densely packed … decompression would never need to uttered again.

Looks amazing. This is one of the few stories I was genuinely interested in for Wednesday Comics. Looks like it won’t disappoint either.

Wednesday Comics is a brilliant project!
I am convinced this is a warm up for the next bigger project, Wednesday Comics II, the next 52 weekly series, a few more pages for a few cents more.
Anyone agree with me?
Dan Didio, Did you hear that? Bring it on!

Hey, we met at T-CAF, I got you to sign my Flash: Full Throttle book. :)
I have to say, this looks totally exciting and awesome! The idea of Wednesday Comics, taking things back to basics, is just what the doctor ordered. It’ll give a nice break from trying to decipher the complicated web that is the current DC world.
Love your re-vitalization of the Flash character, your artwork is fantastic!
Can’t wait until the final product is released.

I remember when I first met someone long ago and requested a flash sketch ” I hate drawing the flash ” and ended in an aqualad, my best sketch ever from someone I like to call friend. Look forward to seeing you at FanExpo this year. Hasn’t been the same without you.
